I have 5 more cards made from the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month January 2022: Truly, Madly, Deeply. These cards are all about using up the scraps and getting the most use out of the supplies. With such a well put-together kit, you don’t have to stop at 10 cards…you can do so much more. I have some tried and true tips and techniques for using even the small scraps. I hope I can inspire you to keep creating, and if you don’t have this kit, I hope you can get some great ideas for using your scraps and your unused supplies!

This first card is a great way to use small scraps. You only need two 7/8″ squares of each of the patterned papers (except the envelope one which I used one 7/8″ square and a longer rectangle.

I like to use a coordinating card stock (in this case, the gold) to unify my different patterned papers. It is also very useful, if the papers do not match up perfectly…the gold strip covers it up. 🙂

For the fourth card I also used a “cover up” technique. The pink patterned paper covers up the fact that I have two pieces of the the diamond patterned paper as a background panel. They are the same width, but there is a gap in the middle because the height of the two scraps would not have been long enough. Once the pink paper is place, you cannot even tell that there is anything missing. ; )
